Reopened after renovation this week, just had my lunch there.

Can't really see what is the different, but all prices increases.

My favourite penang prawn noodle going closing down next month to look for new place, complaining rental has increase tremendously after reno.

What the hell....I thought this is run by town council one? Some even got $$$ for investment why need to increase price? I thought garment are helping people to cope with inflation?

Yup, all increased.

 

Thunder rice kee kay $0.50

Tao Huay from $0.60 to $ 0.90 per bowl ($1.10 takeway)

 

There's little work being done - just repainting and change tables/chairs.

Finally reopened. Looks like everytime when they renovate the place, be it coffeshop or hawker centre, rental sure increased and food price also increased!

This haker centre located near boon lay drive.

It is in BOON LAY. Next to BOON LAY SHOPPING CENTRE.

 

It's just a ordinary hawker centre. Dunno why called it Food Village.

Most of the time after reno, landlords will take the opportunity to jack up the rentals to ridiculous prices. From let's say $300 can sometimes even raise until $1k. Landlords these days are getting sibei tan lui.

Yes, the nasi lemak open till midnite. I live near there, the fish soup, the one cooked by one aunty also not bad, but very fast finished liao, so is the hokkien (prawn) mee. Roti prata and the afternoon nasi brani is also good, just next to the nasi lemak store, the nasi brani dum before even lunch, already sell out liao.
