Today's elementary maths question machiam like testing your england. When first time I saw a simple mathematical solution need a Phd in english literature to solve, I went "WTF!??" IMO, this is like putting an acedemic death sentence to student's who's English isn't up to certain "standard". Thus May 19 and June 18 is eliminated.A couldnt have been told it is June as A says that the doesnt know the answer after eliminating June 18 thus June 17 is also ruled out.After A's 1st statement, Bernard ruled out June 17 and found out the answer. As June 17 was eliminated because of A's statement, B must have been told 17 was the date. As only the pair of June 17 & Aug 17 will deduce an answer after eliminating June 17.
