Ken4555 1st Gear September 10, 2013 Share September 10, 2013 i'm also on ku31 now.. i notice that the wet is good but when comes to dry, it rather poor compare to my previous, nexen. always stop when i want to.. I am on KU36. Not 31. Note that tyre pressure, car make, number of pessengers, state of Tarmac all contribute to braking distance. Also I think nexen UHP tyres are not too bad

Strange....I find nexen grip much poorer to ku31. Btw, I used n7000 for nexen
Kurty Supercharged September 10, 2013 Share September 10, 2013 Yeah, probably mine are not brand new, slightly used for 10k. I'm using nexen n3000, for the last 3yrs, good summer tire. But poor aqua. I find ku31 noisy level still much acceptable compare to my nexen. Probably aged tire too
Roberttan 5th Gear September 11, 2013 Share September 11, 2013 MOST driver need or expect Good grip / low noise / handling / low Price I know is not very difficult to have all , but is still affordable for me because 1 set of tyre lasted average of 45,000km or 2 years is worth the investment for it. Safety is above everything to me
Ekiden Clutched September 11, 2013 Share September 11, 2013 The "worr worr worr" sound could be due to wheel bearing need replacement. Correct is wheel bearing i encounter before
Ckchong8 1st Gear September 11, 2013 Share September 11, 2013 (edited) Reasonably priced and value for money tires. Well priced and good trip. But noise level after 15k is quite loud. If wan quiet tires, not really recommended due to nature of its threads You might have over inflate the tires. I alr in 30k and the noise level not so N bearable and no much difference from new. Notsogoodman 4th Gear September 11, 2013 Share September 11, 2013 i suppose everyone's tolerance level is diff, to each his own After overpaying for a few sets of Bridgestones previously, i switched over to Kumho KU31... just went Soh Bro today to get my 3rd set of KU31 i think noise level is good for the 1st 5k, still ok for the next 10k..... n after 30k pretty noisy (but my wife says i too sensitive)
GeneKoh Neutral Newbie September 24, 2013 Share September 24, 2013 Tried to look for these tyres (KU31) in my size (195/60R15) recently in the last 2 weeks.. Been calling oh a few tyre shops (AL, Chen Jin, etc), but all seem to be sold out. Anyone know where got stock for 60 profile size of KU31...? Seems to be either quite rare, or whole sg run out of KU31... My KH31 already past-due to replace.. A little worried...
