I seldom go grooming now but last time I just go normal JB car wash after grooming.

 

The shine usually lasts a couple of months if the groomer is good.

 

Some just do a wax n it wil wash off after only a couple of washes.

that what i worry of.... spending money gromming and worry after JB wash, the protect coat all gone

Just send for those PPS Sealant and normally if it is good, just wash with water/shampoo the shine will be maintained for quite a long period. Low maintenance and don't need to every other month send to groom.

 

If the sealant standard sucks, paintwork will start to haze or streak.

Did u check how much those PPS grooming treatment cost???

 

Maybe u sud call them then u know.

When I send for grooming (average cost $70) I wil check what ty do first.

 

Usually its a wash then claybar then polish then wax n last is some coating on top of the wax to make it last longer.

 

Then ty wil say only use water fr the next few washes n after u do like normal wash with shampoo etc.

 

I used to go fr grooming abt once a year to remove the swirls n bits of dirt stuck in the paint to maintain a decent shine.

 

Also ty wil treat the leather seats n clean the interior.

 

Now my car abt 8 yrs old I dun bother anymore. Just JB wash can already.

 

I apply my own leather treatment fr the seats which is quite easy to do.

currently only maintaining normal car wash once per week and I think that's good enough..

 

p/s: I am working @ Tuas area..
