Hi all

I am in desperate need of help. My Hyundai starex H1 year 2011 has got a burnt clutch and its flywheel is broken

I called stockist and they quote me $3,500 just for the flywheel alone and $1300 on the clutch replacement kit. all this are parts only, no labour

anyone know where I can get spare parts for my van at a cheaper price?? $5000 for a flywheel and clutch combo, i think very ridiculous considering omv of vehicle 20+K only.....

pls advise =(

Go to those korean car or van specialist. Google Ann Joo mootor. They have an outlet in sin ming and bukit merah also. Alternatively, just drive around those car repair areas and look for those PA bus or van specialists. They should have the contact to bring in for you and fix. Now you know why nobody drives this van....

i called min ghee and komoko,

both komoco and min ghee quote me 5k+++

try SongYi and see how. If the price is still around 5k plus, then i guess that's the market price loh.

True starex there very popular, go jbee sure can get one

Last week, I rent a Starex in KL to drive.

Actually, quite nice.

The diesel engine is powerful enough. High speed overtaking is not a problem.

Step on hard, the car bus will cheong forward.

Can sit 9 persons and still with boot space.

but the gear AI has room for improvement. The power is not enough already it still no down shift and cause vibration.

Break also no good. perhaps the momentum is too big.

the 2 sliding doors.... so heavy to open.

Turbocharged

This starex (malaysia) both sides mirrors design suckz.

Both sides mirrors are fitted with led lights that are shining directly at the drivers behind or beside.
