Its in line with MOM minimum requirements -

so long as you know ahead of time, and pay is always on time, I don't have a problem with it

SAF is 10th of every month. But they pay in advance. That means, they pay u when u havent worked for the month.

Other companies pay u only after u had completed one month's work.

I fail to realise the crux of the issue.

WTF, so long as they pay once a month, why would MOM bother?

what that company did:

full pay of july, paid on 5 aug, but pay from aug 1 -5 is not included.

i wonder, if the company someday set paid on every 28 (full pay of july, paid on 28 aug, but pay from aug 1 - 28 is not included), also normal?

5th good mah....you are not spending $$$ in advanced.

Mine is every 25th.

If it falls on a sunday, then sat will be the pay-day. ^_^

I very lucky. Company pays my salary on the 15th of the same month.

eg: for Jul's work, I will be paid on 15th Jul. If the 15th is on a weekend or public hols, then my pay would be credited 1 business day earlier.

At least the queue at ATM will be shorter when you draw out your salary. Once a month cut hair at barber also don't have to wait for so long.
