I don't think a CVT gearbox will wear off at 110k km mileage. If oil is black, it's a sign it could be burnt or wrong oil use. CVT gear oil is very sensitive, make sure you change the right oil. Try changing oil first. Use toyota original cvt fluid if in doubt.

Try changing oil first before repairing. The common failure is the dog clutch unit on cvt that doesn't release or bite during acceleration and deceleration.

Did you change the CVT oil every 40k interval? This is very important.

Help to find out ws why black color, the original new is clear and at 40k change also clear. Could it be the oil level too low causing the burnt.

But TS also very farnie de, until now still haven't mentioned what's the problems and symptoms. Liddat how to help?

If just basis on black CVT oil, then just change a few times to flush off using compatible but cheaper version, then replace with real Toyota CVT oil. Then monitor situation.

This I believe is the cheapest option unless he's willing to spend a fortune on GB overhaul straight away.

Last Thursday night when driving back from CTE suddenly my car seem to slow down so try to ramp on the pedal the rpm went up but the car never pick up at all. No choice but to pull over the road shoulder to wait for tow truck. Now have to wait for my workshop boss to tell me what is the problems.
