If you are thinking of lifting the self exclusion, you are not ready to have it lifted.

??? Then? You mean it will lift itself automatically?

For your own sake as well as your family, pls do not attempt to have it lifted.

When self exclusion is in effect or not is no longer relevant to your life, then it is already lifted.

Can self-lift one meh?

Can self-lift, but very troublesome. ( min to serve 1 year self-exclusion order before one can apply to lift the order )

I also applied self-exclusion and I also same as TS regret, wanted to lift it and called ncpg to arrange for counseling which waiting time is at least 3 months, some more is they will call me when there is slot available and not pre-booked a date. End up when they called me months later asking me there is slot for next week, but due to my work schedule, I unable to make it. So I give up after that.

*Apply self-exclusion very easy, but want to lift it is very hard. [laugh] [laugh]

But good la is to protect interest of Singaporeans that I can't complain much.

Why want to self-lift? Quit gambling and life will be better [cool] Sinking into the gambling pool is no joke [knife]

The no. to call to book appointment is bogus no.

This is to prevent people from lifting self-exclusion.

A friend of mine also tried calling like hell but no answer.

I suggest u don't lift. Good Luck.

just to share my experience in lifting exclusion... i had a self-exclusion imposed by myself using singpass 18 months ago...

then realize that all my benefits with the casinos are all frozen eg like my points, annual levy, free hotel stays and free dining vouchers...

after 1 week of self-exclusion, call up NCPG to shedule an appt to lift up my exclusion, the authorities mentioned that i need to wait in queue for 2-3 months...call me up in less than 3 weeks, went down for the schedule appt... waited at the lobby at thomson road MCDS building...

after about 30mins, the staff ushered me into 1 of the cubicles and handed me my printed personal financial status and start questioning my financial health(lucky i,m debt free)...

then waited another week to go down again to see a psycharist to access my mental health. cleared by the doctor and subsequently lifted up the self exclusion in 1 day.

went back to the casino to retrieve back all my benefits... and started to visit the casino less and less till all my benefits had used up...

its easy to do self exclusion by the touch of the comp but its take alot of efforts to get it lifted as it is not encourage by the authorities...

so do exercise caution when doing self exclusion cos it will be a long road of efforts to dis-ban it...
