There are like more than 10, all registered in 2011, just wondering why..is it a good car? Thinking of getting one 2nd hand, like the looks.

Executive SOP summary (depends on what TS wants to hear):

 

DSG-supporters: superior tech, best thing since sliced bread, only break down twice wat, got extended warranty so i onli worry after year 5

 

DSG-haters: useless piece of crap, how can a gearbox unexpectedly break down, poor aftersales service made things worse

 

K-Po MCFers: heard from my fren's fren cousin's unker that their dsg up lorry 20 times, ppl buy vw coz they tink its atas conti and my toyota/nissan/.....(fill in the blanks wif any jap brand)......is better, conti car always overheat and jiak yu, etc, etc.

I have no exp with the rocco. But from my friend’s feedback, the gearbox is a major problem. It broke down twice within 3 yrs. Heard him say there are only 2 service centres in spore. One specialised in major repairs and the other centre only do minor stuff like oil change etc. there is a long waiting list of repairs/servicing in both centres.

 

After the warranty period is over, it will cost a bomb to repair those gearboxes. So its better to sell and buy a more reliable model

I will get a T 86, comes in real manual if I am looking a spork car. Spork car supposed to come in real manual only. Want auto, drive saloon. Period.

Agree. Auto Gear couldnt take the stress by the car. Sooner or later sure 'up car'.
