i went to C&C yesterday, they are actively promoting the GLA and CLA now, i think new C will probably come Aug-Sep earliest

not so sure

but i heard will be around 200K even for the basic model

The main features are the

1. HUD-Heads up display

2. AIr Suspension

3. 7-Inch COMAND display interface

and also dunno if the basic model even comes with any of the above

Anyway, i still believe the W0205 will definitely be a hit in Singapore

Cant wait.....

Will still be 200k if COE drops further? Actually base on current coe level and assuming around OMV of 30k, even if factor in a higher profit for newer model, it should not be selling above 185k (entry model) Anything more they are pricing themselves way out of market for such a model

Yeah I also din see any display of the current C180/200 when I went. Is it no longer available even if there are customers for it now?

Yeah, better buy F10, pay slightly more for a better drive (assuming new C handling about the same as the old one).

Read a review from some UK website ..... F30 still edge out the W205 in the handling department.

The F30 still ace the review compared to the W205 despite being an older model.

Thanks for the info. Generally the F cars drive better than the Ws.

I have not driven the F30 before but had spent time behind the wheels of F10 and W205, the F10 is selling at around 230k with freebies (petrol vouchers, etc.) worth 10k, so if the differential between the 2 (F10 and W205) is around 20k or 10%, it is probably worth paying more for a F10 because the drive is considerably better than the W205.

Agree ... if the price for the F10 and W205 is too close, my vote goes to the F10 as well.

However, i dont think Cycle will price the W205 too high, the price of the F30 would likely be the bench mark.

The entry GLA listed at 180+ is similar to that of the X1.

How much is the F30, after all the usual discount?

The new C is nice, so if priced competitively, it will sell like hotcakes.

F10 was having promotion, after all the discount, overtrade and goodies,

nett around 210K....

Good Deal?

I hope new C comes in soon, but seems now they are still heavily promoting GLA ans CLA models

Someone told me new A4 coming in Oct-14 also, brand new model as well

Not a bad deal but not a fantastic deal at same time. If we look at PML usual profit margin of at least 100-110% of OMV, the price of 210K is considered quite a decent deal. But overall, at that OMV and specs of car, I do not feel 210k is all that wonderful.

with that kind of price, does it makes more sense to get a E class?
