I think Imperial Heritage should be not bad although I didn't stay there before.

The hotel is new and location is quite good, within walking distance to shopping malls and Jonker Street.

The only thing which stop me from staying there is the small pool.

Thanks... going w kids, if pool is small then not fun for them liaol...lol

I am going next weekend and have booked The Straits. [:p]

Pls give review thanks! :-)

go book Novotel and it won't go wrong, pool is decent size and lobby and reception is better than Straits although they are just next to each other.

I looking at doing some grocery shopping while I am in Melaka. I search Giant in Melaka and only three came up.

There is the one at Mahkota. Then there are two hypermarts at Cheng and Bachang.

Would the hypermarts be cheaper and more "localised"? Anyone been to Giant @ Cheng or @ Bachang?

If you are buying on the way back, i usually go to Aeon (Jusco) half way toward toll. They also have Kenny Roger  there  :D

what kind of groceries are you buying? rice, oil, canned food? Prices are more or less the same. Giant's crowd is not as much as Tesco and Jusco.

I usually go Tesco. Its near to Sentral

Actually, Bachang Giant is not very crowded, have sheltered carparks, though not many lots. Tesco and Bachang Giant are actually close to each other.

Actually bang for your buck would be ECOtree.

Nowadays Melaka is sleepy again. Biz is
