Ended up the old folks had to sit by the road side. Shouldn't police be making more regular patrols at those area instead? They interviewed the MP of the constituency and she said it was the wish of the RC/residents to have them removed to solve the gambling problem at the void deck. If so scared of gambling problem in void deck , then then study area in some blocks, how? There also got tables and sits ... At one point, government want to encourage to build good neighborhood and encourage neighbour to talk to one another and they are trying to build more common space for them to mingle around. Then removal of stone tables and chairs is directly opposite of what the government is trying to achieve. The old folks especially will have no space to sit and mingle with their ka kis..
