Hi Guys,

Just received a threatening SMS with the following message:

I MAKE SURE I BEFORE MIDNIGHT MY WORKER COME YOUR HOUSE AND BURN YOUR FxxxxxG HOUSE!!! I MAKE SURE BEFORE U AND YOUR FAMILY DIE AND U WILL SUFFER!!! CALL ME NOW OR U WILL GET IT BY TONIGHT!!!!!!! O$P$!!!!!!

Obviously I didn't call back.

Anyone got this kind of message before?

At first I thought someone use/steal my details to bluff Ah Long, but the more I look the more it doesn't seems Legit. I thought usually Ah Long threaten will say your name and NRIC to be more convincing? Looks like someone trying their luck to scam me by impersonating an Ah Long.

I'm planning to report to police by I'm torned between the urgency to report online or report at my NPP.

Perhaps it could be sent to your number by mistake?

On lighter note, if it was me, I may just send him a pic of a Hello Kitty tattoo on my forearm. That should scare the shxt out of him.

Supercharged

Don't call back.

Just report it to your nearest NPP. Then tell them to send more Policemen to patrol your area tonight, cos there's a threat to "burn your house down"!

Please report urgently. It could be a case of mistaken identity with you being an innocent victim. I just wonder why the other party never call you since already got your number.. free incoming?

Exactly. I did research online and found most genuine Ah Long SMS will address you by your Name or NRIC and Address and then threaten you. LIke that more scary.

But this one, just 1 SMS, no miss call, no name, no address....

hmmmm....doesn't seems legit
