Yes, can't recall the exact report. But the GP interpret it as serious and warn me this could be lung cancer.

Specialist look at the xray, commented the radiologist could be inexperienced.

You can't really tell sometimes.

Cos u probably didn't have fever/infective signs that would make infection more likely.

Think the doctor also kanchiong for u lol.

The presence of a lung cancer can predispose that lobe to infection. So sometimes the diagnosis of cancer is made after the infection clears up.

Lost another pal to cancer. RIP Michael Leong. I knew him from Shareinvestor.com days. A good fella

Colon cancer, is this the no.1 killer for chinese men in Singapore? Could it be diet related? Too much red meat.

It's has a correlation with eating all red meat (so those people on paelo diet, beware. One of the reasons i don't really believe in paelo diet being all that it's cracked out to be)

Processed meats of course increase the risk.

I don't eat steak everyday.

Nothing wrong with enjoying a steak.

Of course u can be a strict Western vegan and potentially add 6-7 years to your life, but mai la mai la

If you are eating a paelo diet and eating meat in every meal day after day. Well ...

I heard from somewhere that the best way for the body to stay healthy i.e no cancer etc is to maintain a very regular routine when it comes to eating, sleeping and exercising etc.

I.e eat the same good or similar meals in regular quantity at fixed times, sleep at the same time per day.

I recall it was relating to the body being able to regulate itself and knows when to expect certain activities to happen which promotes a healthy development of the organs as a whole.

Another supplement rumored to be great at fighting cancer is IP6, encourages the mechanism which destroys cells that gone haywire.

My take is to avoid all known carcinogens, or take very moderately. Eat a lot of vegetables. Eat salmon on alternate days, eat walnuts, fruits and berries.

Sleep 8 hours, exercise everyday. Keep bmi at 22. Eat carbo moderately. No carbo after dinner. Count calories and nutrients.

Avoid sugar. Skip egg yolk. Skip fried food.

Do annual screening and quarterly blood tests.

Thanks for reading.

I'm going jogging now.

compared to our forefathers who braved through hardships and wars in the yesteryears, modern younger generations today are too fortunate and have too few setbacks.

look at their wealth and lavished lifestyle, modern technological gadgets, cars, holidays, modern houses...they need more setbacks..something has to be sacrificed

as GDP increases annually, incidence of cancer will rise proportionally...there ought to be a trade-off..

this is a fair world..modern generations in singapore cannot complain..they have to be contented...even if cancer befalls..it's heaven's will that they have to surmount this hurdle..in exchange for their economic gain

wealthy Singapore...this is a must-fight battle for you, cannot escape

I'm going jogging now.

I recently started having 2 meals a day and kept the meals within a 6 to 8 hour period and that means I go without food for 16 to 18 hours everyday (includes sleeping time). It works pretty well for me.

I exercise very hard on alternate days. I eat almost anything I want including fast food. Somehow I manage to stay lean and feel healthy.

With exercise, are 2 meals too little? Why not 3 meals?

Breakfast is important, try not to skip if this is the meal u r skipping

I tried to eat more vegetables and less meat.

Besides, it's cheaper too.

But fruit is expensive, I only can afford bananas.

Bananas good for the gut. But, too many will cause sugar spike leading to lethargy.
