Gear 'stuck' occasionally

Occasion my manual verna gear 'stuck' cannot shift gear but car still moving on that gear. Any bro or sis know what happen???????? THANKS.

 

gear box oil levels ok or not?

or your clutch got problem?

Maybe common clutch problem, like master/slave cylinder leaking.

If you pump the clutch a few times and the gear can shift in, that's the leak.

Dear All,

What about auto gear no cutch. AT on n off. Down shift from 3 to 1, ear 1 to 2jjerk.any ideal. ATF n filter changed.

If your car is using a normal Planetary gearbox, something in your valve body has worn out. The valve body actuates the clutches in the gearbox and so, directly affects the shifting. The only other things that would affect your shifting would be the modulator, ecu or tcm. That's why autoboxes are so ex to repair. It's not just the gears. If the above goes kaput, It could affect other parts of your g'box and may ruin it completely. Same goes for the valve body in conjunction with several sensors in your car like the cam/crank position sensor, speed sensor, etc..

 

If it's CVT, it's basically the same but instead of using a normal valve body, it uses a complex pulley positioning system which is even more expensive to repair. Good luck [wave]

Thanks a lot Bro.

Just called mazda for next monday appt. To check what the damage.learn new things today. BTW, obd scan code but no faulty code. After erase every thing gone, some how come back again.
