Flying_genie 6th Gear April 27, 2014 Share April 27, 2014 missing for 7 weeks is a world record, why they keep denying the plane could be hijacked? A hijacking is unlikely. If it is a hijacking, there must be a reason for it. Hijackers do not hijack an airplane for no reason. There is normally either one of these reasons : 1. Political demand - normally it's to highlight the hijackers' clause 2. Religious demand - this is the most scary as the hijackers are not afraid of death 3. Monetary - not so common as an airplane is almost impossible to sell on the black market 4. Political asylum - many hijackers claim this so that a sympathetic country will accept them ↡ Advertisement

drivinghazard 2nd Gear April 28, 2014 Share April 28, 2014 So what is the conclusion ar? Maybe someone has done someone a big favour, so much so that that someone has to 劳师动众 fly halfway around the globe to a place that he had always wanted to avoid and his predecessor has not been to in 50 years, to thank that someone in person
Allen 2nd Gear April 28, 2014 Share April 28, 2014 any chance that the plane is in N/korea? they have the reputation of kidnapping without reason. there was a documentary that they kidnap japs just to learn their culture so that they can spy on jap. given the close proximity of Beijing and N korea, the plane surely got enough fuel to reach n korea. Flying_genie 6th Gear April 28, 2014 Share April 28, 2014 I doubt it's in North Korea. So many Ah Tiongs on board, the North Koreans won't dare to offend the only ally they have - China.

Ahgong Supercharged April 28, 2014 Share April 28, 2014 it's Dr M turn to push blame ... i somewhat agree with him that any "maker" ie: Boeing should and responsible to build a better "fail safe" plane but in this incident it's abit far fetch to blame Boeing. nonetheless, i believe the suing for responsibility will also land on Boeing somehow or another Dr M defends MAS and blames Boeing for MH370’s disappearance "Boeing built this aircraft. Boeing must explain how all these means of tracking the plane can be disabled, can fail. Either Boeing technology is poor or it is not fail-safe." well, going by his logic, if you are stupid, or someone calls you stupid, you can now blame your mother~! cos she made you this way. it is not your fault. sheez~~!
Voodooman Supersonic April 28, 2014 Share April 28, 2014 missing for 7 weeks is a world record, why they keep denying the plane could be hijacked? Because they don't know what hit them due to their incompetency at the onset??? So best to keep quiet and not look stupid in front of the whole world. To be fair, can't put 100% of the blame on them too, this is quite unprecedented and probably falls into the category of "unknown unknowns", to quote Donald Rumsfeld. ----- Reports that say there's -- that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things that we know that we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know. Dleodleo Twincharged April 30, 2014 Share April 30, 2014 I read the report said that now they suspect that the plane may crash in the Bengal Bay Indian ocean? https://my.news.yahoo.com/classified-data-shows-plane-may-crashed-bay-bengal-000407970.html And i read in hardwarezone forum http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/eat-drink-man-woman-16/%5Bbreaking%5D-malaysia-airlines-plane-bound-beijing-goes-missing-part-3-a-4615754-437.html that a housewife claimed she saw a plane crashed near chennai when she was on board but no one believe her including the stewardess she told.
