he drink kopi also need to add sugar ... taste bud spoil liao  :XD:

you can also try mix some Jiang Qing instead of too much Tai hwa . its nice  :yeah-im-not-drunk:

You may be right my taste bud spoilt liao.

When I take chee cheong fun, no sweet sauce but more soya sauce and more oil and chilli.

I also like kiam chai duck soup and Sichuan chye and salted eggs.  Also like bitter gourd.

Also like the extra hot taste of ginger when cooking with sweet potatoes.

Recently bought woh hup oyster sauce source extra flavour and now will not use other oyster sauce.

Only wishing all these extras will not harm me as I can't resist them.

Turbocharged

Salt and sugar are magic ingredients that can transform ordinary and bland food into yummy yummy food. [laugh]

But, weaning off is hard.

Tried sugarless coffee with creamer and it took me quite a while to get adjusted. Now, I can't drink coffee with sugar.

My current plan is to drink coffee without sugar and creamer. Still adjusting... But, buying better coffee like Arabica beans does help in adjusting.

I have been drinking coffee without sugar for coming to 3 years. But without creamer....think quite difficult for me  [smash]

Jiang qing is light/standard soy sauce here in SG. Jiang you is dark soya sauce.

Tai Hwa makes both.

Tai Hwa light sauce is nice, but for dark sauce I like Chung Hwa. Everybody has different taste, I find Tai Hwa dark sauce salty for my taste. Chung Hwa brand is not commonly available.

That's why I said not commonly available. But it has been around as long as Tai Hwa.

Buy from Bukit Panjang. Not sure which other areas selling it.

My wife does the marketing. I think price more or less about same range, don't think it's super grade. Just that I like the taste after mum bought it for us many many years ago. You may want to try out. Cheers!!
