I like the "cash-kai". The current model is nice too.

The new model now looks a bit like the Murrano.

Saw the Nissan Qasqhai.  Very basic model...though it is branded as a "luxury" model.

Selling at $138K approx depending on COE.

No auto side mirror collapse.

No Parking sensor w video

No VDU unit

No Park Assist

No Lane changer cam.

Car is very light after driving a Harrier.

All this are standard features in UK and Australia but they skimp on all the goodies and only provide you with "leather" seats.

Very disappointed.

Second car seen was Honda Vezel.

Not allowed to test drive. WTF?

Car is fuel efficient but has no power.

The model sold in Sg is the petrol version NOT the hybrid.

Third car seen was Toyota Harrier.

Notice 3 cars sold this last quarter alone. Sparks concern that the car may not be as good as its predecessor.  Not sure.

Again not allowed to test drive. WTF, again.

Any other jap SUVs to recommend?

If this qashqai(farking spelling still wrong)is not X-trail, better wait X-trail,
I rent one month in mid-east, impressive acceleration,
2.5L NA engine 4AT, but heard new X-trail
is CVT, proformance should be compromised

Nice. But i've always found a 5-seater SUV or MPV pointless. Might as well buy a sedan. If go big n tall, go 7-seater nia.

Not so sure about the built quality of Korean cars.

Feel safer with Japanese cars. tried and tested.

Anyone have experience with Kia and Hyundais?

Heard from one of their dealer that the car craps out after 3 years. What confidence...

in singapore SUV regardless 5-seater or 7-seateris, its practicality is zero, but different people aspire to various senses, this is why SUV still can survive in Singapore :D

can see far to squeeze people out, can bully smaller vehicles. That's what on most SUV's drivers brain.

The most practical car in Singapore probably is Suzuki Solio. :D

Yes but sometimes its useful especially when u need higher ground clearance. Moreover people say in SUV more safe than in sedan.

And boot space suv also bigger and carrying ikea items would have no problem
