Auto gear ? Could be the transmission solenoids going bad.

Best to bring it to workshop to diagnose.

Most prob is the engine mounting. Wear and tear. There is a rubber thingy on the engine mount get that change and should be okay le.

Nissan Latio is quite a sturdy car...

Oh ok. Last year happen once before. I had changed the coil and spark plugs. Cost me $400. But don't know why so fast happen again.

Likely to be engine mount. Very common wear and tear part due to long mileage. Cost was about $320 for my car. After that, you will feel your car will have less vibration like a new car. Nevertheless, do check for other fault, I may be wrong.

Hi yours also Nissan Latio?

Sorry buddy, mine it's a Chevrolet as shown in my profile pic.

But I had same problem and changed at $320. I hope Japanese cars parts are cheaper.

Nope, Jap parts are no cheaper than others. In fact, some are more ex than contis.

However, quality especially rubber, seals and gaskets are typically top notch quality.

Ummm...smell... Are you sure the smell is like tyre? Might be your disc brakes jammed... Go take a look, is the brake disc blacken? Did your brake no longer biting or very weak the longer distance you drive?..

If yes, better drive very slow and get it fix asap it could be the disc brake need to change the kit, it's also a rubber thing where it suppose to release the grip when let go of brake pedal but when it failed, the brake pad will bite the disc all the way...

engine mount not a serious problem, engine won't drop off one [laugh]

burning smell could be some plastic bag stick to the exhaust.
