oceanicmanta 3rd Gear August 2, 2016 Share August 2, 2016 (edited) Can any agent here give me a better quote. Tks I got a quote from Sompo insurance Age: 40 Driving Experience: 18 yrs & above NCD: 50% + 5% Current Insurer: AIG Vehicle Model: CIVIC 3DRS TYPE R Engine Capacity: 1998 cc Year Of Manufacture: 2007 Original Registration Date: 20 Aug 2007 SOMPO ExcelDrive Gold (Comprehensive) - Authorised WorkshopPremium with free NCD Protector : SGD 1193.62 (inclusive of GST) Excess : SGD 1500 (own damage)* For Sompo, it is cheaper & more coverage if you go thru their authorised agent. Ask agent for Sompo Excel Drive PrestigePlus (any workshop plan) or a equivalent Authorised workshop plan. I got the PrestigePlus 2 weeks ago. Let me know if you wld like their contacts. Not associated with them, but have been providing good & prompt response. Edited August 2, 2016 by oceanicmanta ↡ Advertisement

I used the promo code FWDHI10. Website very easy to navigate. Claiming wise...don't know and don't wish to know.

Where got $2500 standard excess? That's for young drivers below 27. Additional excess. Mine was $500 but I increased to $1000 to reduce the premium. I bought for a 8 years old Vios so workshop doesn't matter. Anyway to me insurance is just a requirement for me to renew road tax. I got it from their online quote tool. Maybe there's a bug. Anyways, from what you said, it's an adjustable parameter.
