Car had extra 'passenger' after passing by cemetery

Stomp contributor Sljl snapped a picture of this woman holding a baby, only to discover an uninvited 'guest' in the back seat -- seemingly mimicking her pose.

 

According to Sljl, the car had only been theirs to use over the weekend, and that the picture is completely unedited.

"We happened to have this car over the weekend and decided to take a fun shot, however it ended up being a spooky one.

 

"It seems like we are not alone in the car.

"Upon further questioning, we realise this car has passed by a cemetery earlier on in the night.

Back Seat Driver

This picture was taken around 1959. A woman was visiting the grave of her mother who had just passed away. She had brought along her camera to take pictures of the grave. After taking a few shots of her mother's gravestone, she took a quick snapshot of her husband, who was waiting in the car. When the film was developed, they were shocked to see a figure wearing glasses in the back seat of the car. It was immediately recognized as the womans mother The mother whose grave they had visited that day. An expert who examined, determined that the picture was not a reflection or a double exposure.

 

 

A 1950s photo can be more convincing than a photo 60 years later
