Etnt Turbocharged May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 It's now available at Caltex stations @ 17.50 per bottle (at least at Jalan Bukit Merah outlet). For those who used Powerclean previously (from frankel caltex) and had been hunting for it. ↡ Advertisement

Solar Turbocharged May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 Read from a few US forums before, this is supposed to be good, though I've not tried before. Just wonder how it is compared to STP..
Spinelli_ck 6th Gear May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 finally, this product is available in SG. the existing promotional price is only until 30 June 2014. a worthy alternative would be the SI-1 Complete Fuel System Cleaner from Red Line.
Ahgong Supercharged May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 really that good ah?
Jamesc Hypersonic May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 finally, this product is available in SG. the existing promotional price is only until 30 June 2014. a worthy alternative would be the SI-1 Complete Fuel System Cleaner from Red Line. Both are the same thing so I would get the one thats cheaper.
Fcw75 Hypersonic May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 (edited) Just get the STP complete fuel system cleaner and it's a big bottle. Serve the same purpose.$17 at Forklift Enterprise. Buy 3 $50. Edited May 12, 2014 by Fcw75
Spinelli_ck 6th Gear May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 Both are the same thing so I would get the one thats cheaper. the one from Red Line is slightly cheaper. can't go wrong with either product as the amount of PEA in them is as high as 50%. i understand PEA is a proven cleaner that removes deposits from fuel injectors and intake valves.
Spinelli_ck 6th Gear May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 really that good ah? more effective for older cars. check out the reviews in BITOG.
Kb27 Supersonic May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 Techron Concentrate cleaning power is PEA. Redline SI-1 and Amsoil PI Performance Improver contains the same PEA. Go for the ones with the cheapest price and highest concentration of PEA.
Jman888 Moderator May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 how often do we add this in? once a month? just pour into the petrol tank?
Etnt Turbocharged May 12, 2014 Author Share May 12, 2014 how often do we add this in? once a month? just pour into the petrol tank? I use it before oil changes, or when I feel significant vibration. I have used STP, Redline, Powerclean/Techron before, and judge their effectiveness by how much it reduces the vibration in the old clunker. So far, Techron is the most effective based on my non-scientific, fat butt dyno.
Kb27 Supersonic May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 how often do we add this in? once a month? just pour into the petrol tank? It depends on how you want to clean: 1. Shock - empty one bottle into a full petrol tank. You can plan to do this once or twice a year. 2. Slow - 1/10 or about, add to every full petrol tank Also look at the instructions on the bottle. PEA is proven to remove gum or thingy clinging to fuel injectors affecting spray pattern.
