Remember, weight is the #01 enemy of fc and pigup.

Tyres rolling resistance, width, od plays a part too.

Different vehicles got different sweet spot.

The FD3 used 15" rims and tyres. I assume you want something more stylish... but if you go bigger, there is likely some mild impact on your FC. Won't be huge I think. There's a FD3 in my office CP running on 16" rims.
