Supercharged

Has anyone tried AGM batteries before?

Any feedback?

Seems not many available in the market currently: Odyssey, maybe Bosch, maybe Varta...

Any more choices?

Thanks in advance.

Last time got one from Autobacs. Cost $300

Saw one lasted one year in a Sonata.

Don't waste your money.

AGM battery need special charging at a lower voltage.

If your car is not equipped to charge AGM battery, it will die quickly.

Automotive charging systems for flooded lead acid often have a fixed float voltage setting of 14.40V (2.40V/cell), and a direct replacement with a sealed unit could spell trouble by exposing the battery to undue overcharge on a long drive.
