Honking at cyclists on an almost empty road like that is one of the most arseholish, dangerous, intimidatory things that a driver can do
Soya Supersonic June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 Wow....very brave. Willing to risk his life against an inexperienced driver who could hv accidentally run him over from behind. Detach8 5th Gear June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 if they cycle single file and keep left, i have no comment. but this cyclist... if you are reading this... F U. i am a recreational cyclist too, and you are a disgrace. the argument is not that because car pay road tax so we got right to use the road, but the fact is that the road is for motorized vehicles and that these vehicles must be licensed to operate because there are traffic rules to abide by. all these errant cyclist are just asking for trouble, or in some cases like the pink guy is actually LOOKING for trouble. i really hope they can be taken of the road. it's a sport/hobby for these clowns, but the road is a means of transportation where people need to go to work, deliver goods, etc. it's not a cyclists's blardee playground.

Yeah - he could have handled better - but then, I must also say well done to the driver of the 1000kg car - honking at the 80 kg cyclist when he had two lanes to pass on a mostly empty road. What a nice way to teach a driver courtesy and respect of other road users
SuPerBoRed Twincharged June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 when i was taking my license.... i met even far worse scenarios lo... eg ppl purposely overtake and e-brake... meeting ''laolan'' ppl while taking license is no 1 rule under driver's handbook! And repeatedly honking at someone in an attempt to force them to get out of your way is NOT looking for trouble? Particularly on a three lane road where there is plenty of space to overtake

Particularly on a three lane road where there is plenty of space to overtake look, the cyclist IS SUPPOSED TO keep left as much as possible. the honking got worse because nobody moved. riding two-abreast on a 70kph road with fast moving traffic? the cyclist thinks what? they own the road? The instructor definitely the one to blame here Doesn't make what was done any less wrong - just that the instructor should be scolded not the student look, the cyclist IS SUPPOSED TO keep left as much as possible. the honking got worse because nobody moved. riding two-abreast on a 70kph road with fast moving traffic? the cyclist thinks what? they own the road? Cyclists are allowed to ride two abreast. Besides - there was still plenty of space to overtake ↡ Advertisement
