Karu 6th Gear August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 Should not be a problem for most cabs. Just tell the cabbie up front. Unless you are talking about limo or maxi cabs. They charge extra for additional stops.
Steptronic Supercharged August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 Should not be a problem. One time one uncle told me he could not do an extra stop. When I asked him to close the bill at first stop and restart again. He kept quiet after that and went on with only one bill.
13177 Supersonic August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 If you opt for personalise trips, usually they will charge per trip. But those taxi flag from road side, should be able to go to two different location before proceeding to the airport, but must inform the driver beforehand. Camrysfa Turbocharged September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 Touchdown at Changi Airport at 1130 pm, the chance of catching a MRT train on EW line to head west is a gonna. Probably have to take an expensive taxi ride. How about this airport bus shuttle that operates round the clock. How does it work? At $9.00 it is attractive. Is it only for those who have a hotel booking? Maybe can take this to city and then catch a train from there?

Is actually based on age and type of vehicles, merc is slightly expensive, hiace should be ard $35 to $45. But they may had raised the price as the Commercial Bus Insurance is increasing at ridiculous rate.

Neutrino Supercharged September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 Airport to Clementi is less than S$20 iirc. Will be doing the trip again next week so will be able to confirm. I don't think S$20 is expensive, imo.

Just tell them you are a walk-in hotel guest if they ask?

He saved his air ticket price by not taking check-in luggage. For him to pay $40 or more to get home sucks. Assume he stays at Boon Lay. From what I experienced on one trip, there is no more connecting train to Boon Lay from airport after about 1145pm. Try taking a SBS bus from airport to Tampines in the hope of catching a train - no more train! There are smart cabbies who scout at MRT stations after train service have ended - sure get some fares pronto. So what is the cheapest way to get home for Mr Budget? There are no budget travellers, only desperate travellers. Firstly, the desperate traveller will avoid touching down at a time when public transport is not available. If it really happens, the desperate traveller camps out at Changi Airport until dawn. And if you really notice, the desperate traveller between Singapore and KL takes the Express bus. Woah tks for sharing experience above. That is really something new. N very interesting qtn abt budget. Cheap flights r normally the latest. Touch down really no public tpt. Guess as some said bunk till MRT available which is not too long if one touch down past midnight n earliest train at 6+, right? And if you really notice, the desperate traveller between Singapore and KL takes the Express bus. I agree, I am one. Given option to fly vs gg on coach to KL, I will opt for coach. Less traumatic taking a bus compared to flight.

Camping there is safe but some travellers no sense of modesty. If one comes in past midnight, can see some travellers really treat as if they are @ home.
