The new owner never start to lelong the ticket price to attract people..

They first wil get Consultants to come n do a research n then decide how much can charge. [sly]

The consultants already charge $300K just for research. [hur][dizzy]

Thats why many "projcts" r doomed to fail from the start. Just to research costs already weigh down the project even b4 it starts.

SINGAPORE - Mainboard-listed tourism company Straco Corporation has agreed to buy the troubled Singapore Flyer for $140 million in cash.

The acquisition "represents an expansion of the group's core tourism related business," Straco told the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.

The Flyer, which cost $240 million to build, came under the spotlight in May last year when the company behind the now six-year-old attraction was placed in receivership.

It was later put up for sale, with advertisements appearing in major newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal in the United States.

Maybe they should change those capsules to a love capsule, with blinds and water bed.

For those who want a quickie at a hourly rate.

Or convert it into a gigantic fan. When there's haze, rotate it in the direction so that it will suck the haze away from city area. When no haze, rotate in the other direction to suck in the sea breeze and blow into the city area.

Bestest idea but old wolves take longer time to "arrive".

Must do away w blinds then can complete the "action" in 45mins......as in viagra n cialis need time to react yah hehe

The Singapore Flyer is one classic example of building without thinking.

Lost count liao...

Those w historical n tourist attractions bldgs build to last don't retain.

MCF hv more members with brain n foresight than those decision makers or maybe they kiasi don't dare to risk it.

Some prefer a bit of privacy ma....hehe.

OK, then they can tenant out shop to doctor sellg viagra, cialis. A sex toy shop, then next a luxurious shower facilities.... all these sure can pull in crowd.

Actually a lot of things are very affordable in Japan.

It only cost 200 yen to visit a maritime museum on a decommissioned NYK vessel in Yokohama. See and touch until you song.

Surprised that Japan is the cheapest among all...

Interesting.

Seating capacity 784, 1/2 hr ride.

At $30, potential to make 40k/hr or $180mil+ a year and with 12 hrs running daily.

Sounds like a good deal if they can get people up there. The 100mil question is how.

Interesting.
