Nice, but please do keep the park clean by not leaving the melted candle trace on the floor/bench and other facilities there if you are using traditional lantern! [:)]

Don't know where to go on Sunday night?

Bring family to ...........

Yahoo : What to do this weekend (5-7 Sept)

Experience the colourful lights and brilliant displays at the Mid-Autumn Festival now on until 14 September at Gardens by the Bay. Now in its seventh season, Singapore’s largest lantern festival promises this will be its biggest, brightest and most colourful to date.

Cultural performances by local and international artists, Art of Tea demonstrations and chess competitions are just a few of the events lined up for you to enjoy. And of course, don’t miss the spectacular water lantern displays including the Ancient Chinese

Palace as well as the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, to name just two. Other spectacular set-pieces include Racial Harmony in Singapore, SEA Games 2014 and Birds of Paradise, offering something for everyone. Best of all, admission to all outdoor displays is FREE (though entrance fees to the cooled conservatories still apply).

Visit Mon-Fri from 6:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sat-Sun from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. through to 14 September. For more information, log on to http://www.gardensbythebay.com.sg/en/the-gardens/whats-on/calendar-of-event/mid-autumn-festival-details-2014.html
