Did any reporter go undercover to verify ?

Dun think so but yeah, they should go undercover with spy cam to film the ongoings..

So we'll know exactly what's actually happening inside? [grin][:p]

Yishun is really a happening place now ...

Where got stress? Its de-stress ! :D

Yeah bro, always good to have some de-stress! :D

Going yishun now!!!!!!!!!

Haha bro, that's great! If any good, do provide field report [grin]

Give way ? It's not in the mind of many drivers.

One day I was driving in a single lane 2-way road in a private estate.

The only lane was filled with 6-7 parked cars.

I had no choice but to drive on the right in the "opposite" direction.

So, this Sunny was coming at my direction. He didn't slow down or stop, as he thinks he got the "right' of way.

Now, all he has to do was to slow down and let me pass the last car, so I can filter left again.

But he didn't. He come at me and keep flashing at me.

Ok, I stopped there and see what he wants to do.

After waiting for what seems like a long minute, probably his wife in the car ask him to move left a bit and let me pass.

Happy ?

I'm wiling to wait there as long as it takes.

Doesn't mean you got the "right" of way, you can do anything you want, without using what little brain you have.

Haha bro, that's just how it is...if other drivers not giving way, I would...that's just me.

Be gracious and considerate to other road users, be kind to one another [:)]

You know many such roads in private estates, cars are parked on one side or the other.

Then you left with no choice but to move to opposing lane.

Most people are gracious enough, yes, if you see someone coming and look around the parked cars, you would just stop or move left when there's space and let the other guy finished passing by.

But no, some people thinks they own their side of the road, they have the rights to bulldoze through, and that's where you get into a fight over the smallest thing.

Yeah bro, such scenario with single lane 2 way traffic and parked cars, any one party just gotta relent and give way.Wait for few seconds let the oncoming car pass, all to move on happily. Rather then doing showdown with both cars not giving way, get in heated arguement over such trivial matters, no point and with even more time wasted.

Life may already be stressful enough for some, got other better things to do with the time or worry about.

I feel and get you totally, some just thinks and insist on right of way. :D

Impatient customer smashes stall and punches woman after waiting 30 minutes for noodles

SINGAPORE - After deciding he had enough of waiting 30 minutes for his wonton mee, a man started smashing the stall front with a beer bottle.

The incident happened at North Bridge Road Food Centre on Monday (Oct 31) at about 10.30pm.

A woman selling soya beancurd at a nearby stall tried to prevent the man from escaping, but received a beating instead.

The owner of the wanton mee stall, Ms Ye, 65, told Chinese newspaper Shin Min Daily News that she had opened the stall as usual last night when the man came to order a takeaway meal. He grew impatient after waiting for about 30 minutes and walked towards the stall in a huff.

He reportedly shouted at Ms Ye: "Do you want to give me my wonton mee? If not I will show you! (sic)"

As Ms Ye replied that there were still two customers ahead of him, the man took a beer bottle and smashed the glass display at the front of the stall, causing it to shatter.

Ms Ye told Shin Min: "As I could smell alcohol on him, I immediately called the police. When he tried to leave later, I followed him and tried to prevent him from escaping."

The soya bean stallholder noticed that something was amiss and followed them. When the man struck an aggressive pose, she tried to mediate but became the target of his wrath.

The man was believed to have punched the soya bean seller on the face and hit her again after she fell to the ground.

Shin Min reported that the woman felt giddy and her face was swollen after the attack.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that they were alerted to a case of ambulance assistance at 11.04pm and sent an ambulance to the location. A person was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

The police said that they were alerted to a case of rash act at the area at 10.42pm on Oct 31. A 54-year-old man was arrested in relation to the case and investigations are ongoing.

It is understood the man was arrested near the location of the incident.

Shin Min reported that the victim of the attack was discharged from hospital on Tuesday (Nov 1) morning. She had been in the emergency department through the night, and while her face remained slightly swollen, she was alright, her daughter told Shin Min.

Police frown on clown's scare antics in S'pore

Update: Joel Wong, 19, who dressed up as a "killer clown" and tried to scare passers-by at a park and an underpass, has apologised in a video posted on YouTube.

He had wanted "to make a viral video", he said, but ended up being questioned by the police, who showed up at his home on Monday.

A video uploaded on YouTube on Sunday by user Joel Wong shows a man dressed up as a clown scaring people in various locations in Singapore. This follows recent news from around the world of pranksters dressed in clown attire terrifying people.

The video opens with the line: "Since its (sic) nearing Halloween, I decided to dress up as a clown and scare some Singaporeans."

According to the video, it seems that the police carried out checks on the identity card of the prankster and "advised" him not to upload any content.

But it appears that the prankster still went ahead to do so.

In the video, a man is seen donning a clown mask with red hair and wearing a white jacket stained with what appears to be red paint.

One of the prank sites is a park. The "clown" crouches in the bushes at night, then jumps up to scare passers-by. A mother and son pair scream at his sudden appearance.

Another site is an underpass, where the "clown" tries to scare passers-by by jumping out from around the corner.

Most people, however, look more bewildered than terrified.

When queried by The Straits Times, the police confirmed that they received a call for assistance at Block 489C, Tampines Street 45 at 10.40pm on Saturday.

"Upon arrival, the police engaged the parties involved and advised them accordingly," the statement said.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The police also advise the public to refrain from such activities.

The Straits Times understands that the case is being investigated for public nuisance.
