Under the law are bikes allow to ride on the first lane?

Motorcycle are not classify as slow moving vehicle, so it should be allow to ride on lane one.

Will never never allow my daughter to have boyfriend riding bike.

Of cos. She should be the one in control. Sitting pillion on a motorcycle is always scary. Better to be in control of her own life and be the rider instead. (;

That said riders who lanesplit must always be doubly aware of the change in traffic condition and practice defensive riding at all times. Lanesplitting is safer done in traffic buildup than in fast moving traffic.

I am glad both rider, pillion are ok. Lorry driver was alert and managed to brake in time. Rider with camera was helpful but that's quite a rider's trait- to help fellow riders in need.

Driver of the car that got banged seem calm as well. All's well. Thank God.

From my riding experience, there are kup bikers that ride as though they are in a MotoGp race. Hope the rider and pillion are okay. As a precaution, roadrash injuries dun appear immediately and trust me, it hurts alot especially if its on areas like knees and elbows. Ride and drive safe ppl!!

I totally agree. Bike's lane splitting should not be allowed! That is not the correct way to ride or travel on the roads. They try and squeeze into nooks and corners. I have even seen increasingly that bikers try and overtake each other on the lane split!
