My friend just complained, why always riot when he wants to go to the country for a holiday! First Thailand red and yellow. Now Hong Kong student riot.

The poor guy so frustrated liao you still want me to poke him! You evil lar.

 

I think he swear he not going for any more holidays. He going to burn his cash in Geylang, at least he can be assured of a good time.

Surprisingly that HK recent case can become so serious and turned into riot! But I think this riot is only contain around the govt building area, and did not spread to the whole country, guess if you stay far away the affected area should be ok?! Afterall, riot in HK should be not as scary as compared in Thailand or even Indonesia?!

Riots has never stopped me going places.

 

In Bangkok they don't riot in the shopping centres, massage parlours,

 

restaurants and hotels as far as I know.

HK big scale protest has been going for almost 2 years liao

these 2 days getting more intense is because 1-Oct is China national day ... must show some colour ... [sly]

 

Surprisingly that HK recent case can become so serious and turned into riot! But I think this riot is only contain around the govt building area, and did not spread to the whole country, guess if you stay far away the affected area should be ok?! Afterall, riot in HK should be not as scary as compared in Thailand or even Indonesia?!

The riot has escalated quite badly. What was supposed to be peaceful protest turned into chaos. Do not agree with how the police handled the situation.

btw, occupy central protest date has been planned way ahead and he don't know while planning to go hk? never do homework?

1-Oct week also must avoid China tour because the whole of china will be packed with local tourists in hundreds of millions

Sometimes it is not about the area but rather the inconvenience to transportation services when they riot. And that spoils the holiday plan at times.

 

Anyway, I have decided to stay in SG for the rest of the year. Year of the horse is not a good year for traveling so trying to minimize traveling this year.
