US will force their allies to join so will Russia and China. Pretenders will be left in rubbles and ruin! No one will be the winner and everybody else suffer. Ming Dynasty was concerned on keeping a closed off China towards the end of the dynasty. A policy that started the decline of Ming. Qing Dynasty was also trying to maintain the status quo in territory. Now modernised China wanted the SCS. Probably were controlled during Yuan dynasty by vassal state. So China is trying to expand their territorial control thru SCS. Which they didn't control for the last 1000yrs.
