Seems like a pi. Deboutique bringing in e220d soon. Price from 199k onwards

And fc up to 30km/ltr.

Sounds good

Glad that I don't see those illuminated cockpick with facy animated dial found in bmw.

Call me old school but traditional dials work best for me and easier on the eyes.

Anyone having trouble differentiating this new E-class with the current C-class?

Front, rear and side profile are all very very similar.

Dunno if it is a good thing or bad thing?

not very fancy to have 2 x giant ipad on the dash ...

For all their R&D.. they couldn't make this thing more OEM look or integrated with the whole dashboard and interior.

Maybe they initially designed it to be removable like a docking station (so can bring out to use like an ipad)? And maybe this way you can tilt the angle of the panel to optimize your viewing position? :)

Anyway, I won't be surprised if C&C just bring in the regular dials shown in a few posts above. So no need to worry. Haha.

Yeah cars here in general have less options and equipment compared to USA and Europe. Lower omv more profit for ADs

Supercharged

E220d seems good option to us who drivr like 40000km a yr.

Pay extra 800bucks a yr on diesel tax. But prob just 200 odd bucks on diesel monthly. Prob save at least 400bucks a month. Or 4k a yr minus off the 800bucks tax.

Makes running a c class petrol seemingly more expensive

initially i thought the dash looks very nice with the display but the longer you see, you find it actually not so nice after all. so i do agreed with you.

1) True, really hope distributors give more options as standard.

Overseas, saw merc taxi have advanced driver assistance eg  blind spot assist

base S class offered here have to pay around 7-10K more for these features

nowadays some Korean smaller saloons has these!

2) saw a PI advertise - open for booking for E220d - 4 specs to choose, interesting! Hopefully, this provides healthy competition, buyers will gain from it.

3) called SE - claimed new E will be launch this year (instead of 2017), but ?no diesel version.
