I tried watching ep1. I tried very hard to keep awake. A lot of shots on interviewing the astronauts.

I only reached ep7. Westworld is actually not that bad. I'm not talking about the nude bits of course.

 

I also just watched ep1 of "11.22.63".

Plot by Stephen King about a time traveler who attempts to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, which occurred on November 22, 1963.

Like WestWorld it's also produced by JJ Abrams. Lead actor James Franco.

Just watched this. Good show about the events leading to world war 1. Lots of foreign diplomacy, what is it to be ally, break terms, misled, miscommunication, telling half truth, overlord... All the things that is happening with South China sea.

Dunno about the historical accuracy (or otherwise) of the background re the Crown and the East India Company.

 

But it's just entertaining stuff to me, driven mainly by Tom Hardy's Alpha presence. The supporting cast are quite good too; the housekeeper, the American Dr, the Chemist, the Actress. Good cast.
