Hi all,

i got some kitchen tiles that are not v well done. Been like this for past 10-12 years with no problem. just that i get abit irritated sometimes.

i want to diy some repairs,

is there something like epoxy or adhesive liquid that i can inject into the grout? some grout lines have no cement, so there are gaps where i can inject

the tiles are not cracked or damaged. just that some have hollow sound or loose.

if the problem come from below the tile, unless you relay the affected tile, i think the noise will still be there.

Hollow sounding tiles is due to insufficient mortar cement under the tile during the laying process. Grouting from gaps between tile won't help. Unfortunately, the proper solution is to hack & re-tile.

In my experience, I also thought that nothing will happen to the 10 years old (IIRC) the kitchen tiles as they are smaller and thicker.... until they popped.
