Perhaps it will be good if you can reveal what car you r driving. Those with similar make can share if that's a common problem and how to resolve it.

Hyundai avante is should be CVT.. that dont comes with gears... sometimes a bad spark plug will cause all the jerking.. u should check for spark plugs.. before getting chop by LWS

My friend's honda civic got similar problem too. Replaced engine mount and gearbox mount, flushed ATF still the same. Spent $1500+,including servicing. He gave up liao, just get used to it. I almost wanna puke for all the jerking after we went out together the whole day last week..

I think it's gearbox problem, which is very costly to repair.

May need to bring the AT to the operating temperature to check the level - refer to the owner manual.

If really overfilled, rectify it - see if that solves the problem.

The workshop will have the necessary tools.

P.S. How come the end of the AT dipstick is black !?!? Should be bright pink ?

i had similar issue with my ex-matrix. mine was due to the spark plug misfiring. servicing was done in one of the eunos workshop. went back to komoco to get the original spark plugs and the issue went away. just out of curiosity, where did you service your car?

Just change my sparks 2 months ago. Denso iridium. Hanip Auto

Its those kinda lunge forward and catch back. It feel like clutch band slip a bit when engaging gear 2 or a delay engagement. Shall try siphoning out the ATF tml if it is really overfilled.
