I think the 8" Headunit are on the later batches, because buyers wanted GPS in it,like the Mazda 6,but the original 8" unit from Japan[like the 3.5 model] will be very expensive,so Tan Chong 'sourced' cheaper [thumbsdown] [.MIC.?] unit..to complete the thing.

So the 5 or 8" from TC all from China.

Source from Sony or any good brand got same exact size for teana?

Nope,i am afraid no aftermarket Headunit can fit nicely w/o bracket...this type of Headunit, are not like the older cars,1 DIN or 2 DIN standard.

Pat, good question. i was pondering over accord, Camry, teana & Mazda 6.

Accord - handsome, powerful car but find it too exp. To pay this amt, must well look at Lexus, infinity or mercs

Camry - the interior put me off. Can't appreciate the wooden grain tho it has a good track record as reliable car

Mazda 6 - like the exterior bt too plastic inside & noisy

Teana - altough not as stylish as Mazda, as powerful as accord. Overall to me still score better in terms of comfort, spacious, and lasting look.

Anyway, this is just my opinion. Buy car like choose wife, everyone has different preference 😄

Luckily you didn't get Accord 2.4.

Accord 2.4 is selling S$1.5K more than Teana 2.5 in Malaysia.

However, over here Accord is selling S30K more then Teana.

It make me looks stupid if I buy a Accord here and drive to Malaysia.

This is only my own opinion.

Considering the margin they are trying to get for the HR-V which is already a @#$% next to the Vezel, I kind of wonder what's KM thinking [hur]

Nissan's prices are fairly competitive with their closest opponent Toyota... Honda I know is trying to target the class above, but if I look at a Civic... I feel I'm looking at a car that is 8 years old internally... and looks worse than the car from 10 years ago.

Looking at the way KM priced their cars . I guest they are not keen in selling.

If not wrong, why Malaysian Accord is cheaper coz it is assembled in Malaysia.

Experienced driving Nissan Sunny vs Honda Civics, find Sunny lack power and more petrol thirsty compared to Civics.

They have 2 version assemble in MY and Japan. The price diff is not significant.
