Honda JADE six seaters coming soon!

I think getting a car with,

 

1) new turbo engine from Honda;

2) DCT from honda;

3) Hybrid from any make (less risky as i read there is sghybrid locally to troubleshoot it)

 

For 1 & 2, I doubt local mechanics can repair / service these as it is new from Honda...

I may be wrong though...

Anyone knows if any PI has brought in the Honda Jade but in non-Hybrid variant?

saw one copper brown jade at turf city, beside hua yang. sales guy told me it's a MIJ w 1.5 direct injection turbo engine. OMV a whopping 26+k, no CEVS but selling 140k w 2 guaranteed bids.

 

exterior - LED headlamps (don't recall seeing DRL), foggies, rear LED combi tail lamps, shark fin antenna, glass roof that opens with tailgate for last (3rd) row seat (yes, in front all metal roof) so i guess last row ppl won't feel so claustrophobic, 17" factory alloy.

 

interior - factory fitted upholstery (seated portion like netting fabric, side support looked like syn leather (leather smthg similar to vezel s), last row full fabric seats), space for 6 should be decent (unsure about last row headroom but feet may be resting on 2nd row seat rail like x-trail), 2nd row seat individual armrest n adjustable but slide in tapered fashion (both seats narrowing in as movin to rear, but nearer to door panel as movin fwd), dark wood matt trim for dashboard n door handle section, PADDLE SHIFT, sports / VIP pedal (subjective - i think honda wanna be sporty yet elegant in pedal design), full steering control

 

advanced function - cruise control w speed moderation if vehicle in front near.

 

overall nice, only hope price b moderated.

Thks for the info bro! Lots of features with high OMV.

 

As usual for the Japs, they keep the best for themselves so this will not be sold by Kah I think and those who are interested will have to go the PI route which is a pity as IMO it can sell if priced right but then again Kah never price their cars competitively!!

but wifey asked y seat 6 instead of 7? think that b going thru lotsa ppl mind. we quite used to 2+3+2 design for decades. n it's not as if last row is full adult sized design. anyway, see shiok nia. 140k way out my budget.

 

side note, PI seemed quite fast hand fast leg for JDM models. i also saw honda shuttle, slightly better lookin than fit shuttle due to futuristic headlight n front face but rear design i feel airwave still more smoothly designed lines.

Yes PI quick off the mark n with Kah bringing in the official export versions only, another Vezel situation could happen though this being a more expensive model, unlikely to get the numbers that Vezel produced. Jade don't have an export version so PI laughing all the way to the bank [smash]

You have a point on this as its a mid sized MPV unlike Odyssey so may not sell afterall but good attempt n shape is ok. Guess Mobilio at $114k thereabouts is better value but shape not so nice.

But that price is ridiculously expensive, another $8k to $10k more can get the base Odyssey from AD some more!!

 

totally agree. the pricing is totally crazy. will rather go for odyssey with the difference.

i feel is more reasonable to be priced against Mobilo instead.

Haha, Mobilio cost around $113k thereabouts so $30k cheaper plus peace of mind from AD, no fight!

That said Mobilio very plasticky and this Jade being RS version, maybe not very fair comparison.
