As a customer team you will not get everything tuned according to the chassis you design instead the chassis design needs to accommodate the PU so in terms of fit its not 100%. By taking the gamble to an engine supplier that could cater to everything you design, they stand to have a better compatibility which explains the neat coke bottle shape at the rear of the MP4-30. Honda in terms of development is 1 year behind Merc, Renault and Ferrari. So they will have tons of engine related problem this year. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
