been suffering from rashes and finally went to see dermatologist this morning and the doc said I have nickel allergy and I cannot wear anything with nickel, and to avoid prolonged contact as much as possible.

so I am thinking of getting plasti dip or similar product to spray the backing and buckle of my watch, plus other stuff. anyone got lobang for such stuff? think I will end up spraying parts or the car too.

watch is from my wife as a present when we first met and I want to keep wearing it as long as possible.

many thanks and regards.

Just go for this type of leather strap for luxury watches...

Bund-XL-Shell-Cordovan-Luxury-Strap-060.

Or you buy the Panerai watch made from Composite material.

Its more for peoples who are allergic to 'metal' back casing watches although the percentage of such skin allergy is very low .... -_-

Seiko's watch did produce 'glass' back casing for those who are allergic to 'metal'. Can also see the mechanical parts moving inside.... [:)]

Supercharged

Buy adhesive colour sheet, cut to size and stick to watch backside. Art Friend on first floor of Bras Basah Complex has them. Leftovers are $1-2 a bag (entrance facing escalator). I can't wear watches with metal straps too. Maybe similar kind of allergy. FIL offered me one of his Rolexes years ago. I said "No. Thanks. Makes my skin itch."
