Hi,

Me looking for small to mid-MPV.

Wish to get feedback for Sienta Dice 1.5l. Anyone driving this model? How's the drive and maintenance?

Look like only one PI (i.e. M9) is selling. Any experience with them?

Thanks a lot

Me just gathering feedback as I saw a lot of sientas on the road nowsaday.

Vezel is nice but too bad, not mpv.

Mobilio is not my preference in term of look and height for the last row.

Thanks.

The last row of sienta does not look comfortable to me and it has a big lobang between the two seats. Mobilio is $10k more expensive though. Sienta should be compared with avanza.

I took a look at sienta before at M9 months ago. The sienta is actually not a bad ride. drove it once for a very short period. The current model is actually just a facelift with the main engine remain intact if I am not wrong. What I feel sianz about the sienta is the features is too little for the price u pay. the model which M9 brings in doesn't even have the auto slide doors air con is manual etc. The 3rd seats actually to me is not too cramp As the van shape compliments the height. Overall I feel the sienta is not bad for a budget mpv and with Toyota engine actually u can find tons of workshop to service

I had a chat with the boss of M9 before. He should be HKee and spoke very good English. His Scienta are the NFL models. For Scienta, the last row is pretty good and I can sit comfortably (1.78 m tall).

Comparing reliability of Engine.... Avanza is far off IMHO.

I'm a sienta owner, in terms of build quality better than mobilio. Quite nippy, Fc not bad. Bring me up and down Singapore Penang, Malacca, KL lots of times. Reliability good

Thanks for the feedbacks. Yup, basic MPV with little gadgets to play with.

I had seen Avanza too. Am surprised that it is tall car and getting in and out of the car's back row is difficult.

info, I also looking at Chevrolet Orlando too.

I have driven my ever reliable Sienta for the past 7 years. If you are looking for a simple reliable made in Japan MPV then this is the choice. Engine is the same as Vios. The good thing about this car is that it shares a lot of parts with other sienta models. So most Toyota stocktist will have no problem having the spares you want.

The down side will be it really lacks features.. You get to be mistaken as a van and get provoke overtaking in front of you very often. Previously in 2008 when there was an influx of sienta you have three variants. The standard , the X limited and the G. Mine is the x limited that comes with one auto sliding door.

It is really a car that is capable to take 7 adults. A basic point to point car to bring your family around. Looking at it so far only 3 PI Brought the new sienta dice in. The PI which I brought from has closed down. Since looking at the pic there is not much difference to our current ride. Maybe you can look for existing sienta owners and asked for more advice.

Maybe you can go to this forum for advice:

It's kind of quiet nowadays. But no harm posting there and wait for reply.

I have seen quite a few Sientas on the road. Can say that the car is not underpowered, overtaking, cutting in and out traffic all no problem. The driver is good also, I must say.

For sure, size is small for MPV, but can't expect much as it is only 1.5l engine, if too big, then will be underpower liao.

Probably the old model though, dunno much about the Dice, is it a new model?

The dice is supposedly the face lift version in2014. The previous face lift version was in 2007. After not seeing new sienta on the road for quite awhile, saw two sienta dice in two weeks. One in Tampines and another this afternoon in lavender st.

Really for the price we paid 7 years back, no other choice I think comes close for a made in Japan MPV. Now for the price of a new sienta. You do have more choices.

Yup..compared to sienta, Orlando is another potential choice esp with cheaper road tax, insurance too. But I had no experience with Korean cars yet, so not sure abt reliability.

anyway, Hope coe will drop more when my coe expire next apr, else just renew 5 year coe.

Initially I was considering sienta..

Unfortunately I did not come across any 2nd hand sienta with dual electric sliding doors.

The most is with left powered sliding door.

Wife commented the sienta seats look and feel too thin. Looks cheap.
