I have been posted there to work before...

 

if you are there, recommended you to go Qingdao better for leisure... just few hundred km away only...

 

I don know if any major changes since i left the place 5 years ago... but it it good to eat seafood there.. it is quite famous for their cheap and super duper fresh seafood...

 

you can also enjoy the sea breeze, as majority of the area is around the coastal line... but be careful, the wave can be really damn huge....

 

the place quite clean... quite nice and slow pace...

Around there, there's the Nanshan golf course (180 holes I think), Yangmadao, Penglai Ge plus one big Buddha or Kwangying stature.

 

I think that's about it!

 

For food, there are plenty of Korean restaurants run by Koreans. Seafood is probably OK but not the style we like (Canton style).

which airline will u be travelling in? Transit at which domestic airport?

SQ to Shanghai pudong then to hongqiao for MU

 

Coming back is better no need go through hongqiao. Transit at pudong
