I didn't ask on the loan part.

 

But I suspect the reason could be they're expecting the next round COE in Feb will trend down with the increase in quota & is already after CNY. The 2k drop is reasonable.

If you are talking about buying the car under own name, private usage, of course it is not allowed by MAS. But anything else goes. Some common ones I can think of are leasing, private hire, company name. You want 100% loan technically also can, but unlikely cos AD scared you cannot pay lah...

Average OMV 24,580 (Dec) slightly cheaper den the 1.4T 24,920 (Nov). Think really priced to sell. The 1.4T lowest also ard 121,999 when COE was few k lower plus now comes with 5 years warranty.

 

Merc also quite aggressive with their overtrades, credits and freebies also.
