Metalslug2 3rd Gear May 3, 2015 Share May 3, 2015 Been looking at the 2 choices for replacement. Seems 1.8 Civic can be cheaper than the 1.6 Corolla! Any issues that I need to be aware for the Corolla? What are its known problems? I heard the aircon not strong for Altis? ↡ Advertisement

Vblaster_w211 2nd Gear May 3, 2015 Share May 3, 2015 Prefer the 1.8 Civic. Better engine and 5 speed AT. Better handling too.
Earthboy 4th Gear May 3, 2015 Share May 3, 2015 i own an FD1 years back. while it was reasonable stable at highway speed. i cannot say that it handled well without swoping out the stock ARB and add on 2000$ worth cusco bar. the car roll too much in stock form. never drive a altis/corolla before so no comment on that. MQX87511 5th Gear December 16, 2015 Share December 16, 2015 (edited) my guess Altis, civic has more noise for me subject to what car you compare to, compare to conti, of course noise, but to Kor cars, heard to say, Honda's weakness is sound insulation, strength is engine quiet, Toyota weakness is engine noise, strength is sound insulation, Edited December 16, 2015 by MQX87511 ↡ Advertisement
