Been looking at the 2 choices for replacement.

Seems 1.8 Civic can be cheaper than the 1.6 Corolla!

Any issues that I need to be aware for the Corolla? What are its known problems? I heard the aircon not strong for Altis?

i own an FD1 years back. while it was reasonable stable at highway speed. i cannot say that it handled well without swoping out the stock ARB and add on 2000$ worth cusco bar. the car roll too much in stock form.

never drive a altis/corolla before so no comment on that.

the funniest part is the altis is more expensive than the civic. so far my guess is:

1) higher maintenance for the civic

2) higher fc for the civic

Maintenance cost not much diff between civic and altis, only civic insurance slightly higher,

Fc wise civic not higher than Altis

my guess Altis, civic has more noise for me

subject to what car you compare to, compare to conti, of course noise, but to Kor cars, heard to say,

Honda's weakness is sound insulation, strength is engine quiet,

Toyota weakness is engine noise, strength is sound insulation,
