what you're saying is macam like some ministar..

 

no money? go retire in m'sia!

 

Getting education Singapore or Malaysia is a parental choice for their children.

 

Deciding to live in either of the territories is an individual choice which has no relevation to their children's future prospect.

 

So it is a lame excuse say one "go retire in Malaysia" because of no $ when the subjection is about educaiton of your children.

It had been this way since ancient times as part of Chinese tradition.

 

People may forget the story of 孟母三迁 share similar aspiration of parent on their children thousands of years in China.

 

So it isn't just a recent phenomenon, that for any Chinese family which puts education high in their priority, acedemic excellence is part of long held value..

My son's kindergarten teachers got a few quite cute too :=B:

Nah... not elite school but they are going to increase school fees. [:|] [:|] [:|] Sianz.... Singapore is lucky to get free education.

Our Universities Top 20 in the world ranking. The only Asian Uni that made it to the top 20 .... :a-happy:    [smash]

 

 

Yahoo : NUS, NTU, among top 20 on QS list of best world universities

 

SMU made its debut in the rankings this year.

 

Singapore is the only Asian nation which made the top 20 list in the latest World University Ranking.

 

The National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) kept their 12th and 13th positions, respectively, in the 2016 edition of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking.

 

NUS moved up last year from 22nd while NTU climbed up the latter from 39th.

 

Singapore Management University made its debut in the rankings this year in the 431-440 band.

 

The Top 11 universities in the world are: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Cambridge, California Institute of Technology, University of Oxford, University College London, ETH Zurich, Imperial College London, University of Chicago, Princeton University.
