Tyre gel?? Any details?

Thank u.

Wiper juddering is a well known issue for Merc.

One good product is the Armorall Tyre Gel. Applied it to my wiper blades every week when i wash my car. No more juddering.

Available at petrol kiosks / online stores [laugh]

I must be lucky few who don't get the wiper judder.

Initially when new maybe a little but after sometime it goes away.

I only use pure car shampoo to wash my car myself. Everytime wash car, just lift up the wiper and wipe down the rubber edge with the shampooed wash mittens to wash off the build up of gunk along the blade.

Do not use shampoo mixed with wax (ie. wash n wax) type as it will leave wax residue on your windscreen.

Also if you send your car to the commercial car wash, they might use wash and wax type of shampoo. So take caution.

Supercharged

I heard Merc wiper blade is impregnated with graphite for smooth action

The black black thing on the wipes when you clean it are actually graphite

Weekly cleaning the blades can see that all the dirt is sticking on it.

Park outdoor may have to clean more often.  [dead]

Yeah, that's why only one swipe of the sponge is sufficient. Cannot totally don't clean as the grim build up also can cause problem with efficient screen swiping.

But still don't make sense to me to sell as a used car in less than a month.

Would the value be even lower if it's sold as a new car in 2018?

Maybe its a management unit or demo unit. Edited by camrysfe
