I also wanna try lexis hibiscus. But its kinda expensive at almost sgd300 per nite n also very quick to b fully booked. But very tempting, looks nice n its new.

Anyway....anyone ever stayed in airbnb place near the curve damansara?

the port dickson water isn't clean one. Straits of malacca water.

There's a bit of refuse smell (can't describe it, it just doesn't smell good) at low tide.

If u are paying this kinda $ for over the water chalet. Don't bother.

Caveat is i didn't stay at this place. But from what i observe about the coastline there, i doubt it's much difference.

when i stayed at grand lexis, didnt notice any smell from the sea water. wont say it's clean, but it's not dirty either.

anyway, will see how the plan pans out. most likely going to damansara only. mayb keep the lexis hibiscus plan for next sch holidays.

damansara is jus shopping n entertainment. but it is not as bz n packed as kl city ctr. there's kidzania also, so that's the most impt part of any holiday....the kids' enjoyment. for me as long as there's gd food, massage n chill out place, im ok. shopping for the wife of cos.

yeah my dad went there once. he said there r activities for the kids to do. the reason for choosing the water chalets is of cos the novelty factor. n also there is pool in the room, so easy for the kids to jump in anytime.

my kids didn't like sand on their feet too

but the younger ones overcame that much faster than the eldest

because they saw how much fun the older sibling was having on the beach

how old is your eldest?

your kids may not be at the appropriate ages to enjoy kidzania just yet....

my daughter had the same problem when she was smaller. very hard to get her to play sand. but one time i brought her to the beach, somehow forced her to play at the sand, n now she's ok. can sit n lie on the sand with no problem.  :D  [thumbsup]

Buy these water boot for the children to stroll beaches, it greatly help to protect foot injuries by sharp objects such as broken glass, metal and wood debris.

Remember to apply "Mopiko" all over their body to keep mosquitoes and sand flies away, training them at young age to appreciates and loving the beauty of nature to feels sea breeze, ocean tides, sunshine and blue sky line   :a-m1212:
