Lala81 Hypersonic April 25, 2016 Share April 25, 2016 yeah my dad went there once. he said there r activities for the kids to do. the reason for choosing the water chalets is of cos the novelty factor. n also there is pool in the room, so easy for the kids to jump in anytime. yeah ok with older kids. With younger kids around, i always choose those non-villa types. Especially if the pool is just outside the villa.
Kurty Supercharged April 25, 2016 Share April 25, 2016 Paging 2BDriver ! He should be able to give u more informed advise. I shall post mine after 1st wk of May. share with us when you are back. drive safe, be safe. Mine earlier, next week: SG - Ipoh - Ko Samui - Hatyai - Penang - Seremban. wow.. you mean can actually drive all the way to ko samui and hatyai?? power.. what car you driving? the furthest I tried was thai border.. hearsay there's a famous red light district at that area. but with my wife and father in law, definitely a no go for me. Max I've driven is until Cameron highlands and quite tiring already (esp up the slopes). But see you guys all the way up to Ipoh then Penang, super tempted to do a longer road trip. do it when you are still young. its kinda fun, exploring another country. you never know what you may expect. how is the shopping, good? Might want to go there for a change when i come down from penang. penang.. nice place with nice food.. miss the curry noodles and the lou ba (near the 'Tan' bridge)

Was driving a humble beemer, petrol grade no problem, gasohol 95 ( Kao harr). Thai roads are properly paved & it's quite easy straight route to drive to the main tourist cities like Krabi, Phuket, Hua Hin, Cha'am, Bangkok.... U mentioned red light district....of course can find anywhere, but I think u were referring to Betong, just inside the Thai MY border. TameDriver Twincharged May 9, 2016 Share May 9, 2016 Thanks to 2BDriver, I learnt of Palm Hotel in Seremban. It's within a shopping mall with cinema, tickets at abt 1/2 price of ours here, senior citizens 15% less before 6pm. A lot of eateries inside the mall & outside shophouses kopishops & restaurants, massage parlours, etc. Parking: has a section for shoppers. For hotel guests, take the long & wide spiral ramp to a separate section of the building. Also have rooftop open air parking. Construction of a Petron station under the carpark section of the building

I don't know what they call the "pure petrol" fuel but I am told it's more common in ron91 (gao sip nerng) guise than 95. red light district - I think more Singaporeans will know Danok in Sadao border crossing, rather than Betong. Not that I have done a proper study on this
