I change after 7 months as I barely hit 10k. Even at 7 months it's only about 8k.

wah, 8k for 7months.

Each month travel 1.14k, walk also can reach the destination.

you don't need a car. sell it to someone that need the car

I think he meant 8000km, which is around 38km per day for 7 months.. Servicing interval isn't just about oil change. Need to check on those wear and tear parts periodically also, so 6mths is recommended. ..

I'm using Mobil 1 5W30, I strictly followed my manual to change at 10k. Usually I'll hit 10k within 4 months, daily driving also.

my car is a honda jazz...

according to normal service interval, is supposed to be every 6 months or 10,000km, whichever comes first

so if after 6 months I drive say 8,000km, i send for servicing...do i send for servicing again when I hit 10,000? or will the next servicing be after next 6 months or 18,000km?

Don't like to stress myself too much over strict regime.

Just use synthetic 10-50w or 15-50w oil and change between 5+ to 8+k for a turbo'd ride.

I know many say turbo'd must change at 5k, but I don't even hit boost on most days driving to work on CBD area roads.

Supercharged

manual says 15K km, but usually change slightly earlier 12K-13K.
