Passion 5th Gear July 2, 2015 Share July 2, 2015 Can skip autosaver. Don't save a lot. They rebate me so little until now, I decide, I go back to Toyota. If not you can go to those workshop in Sin Ming, I did my servicing there once for my old car. Per part change, they charge me $10. For example, I change oil and oil filter, they charge me $20. Not sure if that workshop still around though.
Acemundo Supercharged July 2, 2015 Share July 2, 2015 what @passion said is true....it is more straightforward to look for a shop that charges the same for labour whether you bring your own oil not. if shops mask it up with a rebate over package price, you end up wondering how the rebate amount is determined. there was one recommended by brother @adrianli along upper Thomson road. Yes. I agree with @Acemundo. Everything is not transparent. End up the rebate amount is less than say the engine oil you brought in. Say the engine oil cost $80. They say, "Oh, bring own parts? I give you $40 rebate." To me is rebate smlj? Labour is labour. The labour not so expensive to turn one nut, release oil and top up. If I have a hydraulic lift, I'll do myself, save the money.
